a little about myself ...

My musical passions are for teaching, playing, and composing.

I teach guitar privately at my home, and at Portland Christian Center School of Music.  I play for hire as a guitarist, and engineer live sound and recordings. 

I began studying classic guitar in 1982.  After finishing high school, I attended West Valley College in Saratoga, California, studying music theory. I played electric guitar in several local bands before getting married and moving to Portland in 1990, where I finished my Bachelor of Music degree from Portland State University. In the mean time I have been involved with bands, ensembles, and church worship teams in capacities of guitarist, bassist, and sound engineer.
